Executive Assistant to the President
Aeryka is an International Affairs professional with an emphasis in the Middle East. She currently serves as the Executive Assistant to ICRD’s President James Patton. She previously worked as an intern at the Center and has conducted research regarding sectarian violence in Pakistan, conflict resolution in Colombia, and religious identities in Yemen.
Prior to joining ICRD, she volunteered with refugees from Afghanistan, Central African Republic, and South Sudan as an Employment Facilitator at the African Community Center in Denver, Colorado. She has a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from the University of Colorado and she has also spent time living and volunteering in Jordan as part of her undergraduate studies.
